Orenco’s Samuel Dennison Heading for National Geography Bee

Congratulations to Orenco Elementary School sixth-grader Samuel Dennison for taking first place in the National Geography Bee Regional Tournament held at Poynter Middle School on Saturday, April 19. He will now be heading to the National Championships in Orlando, Florida, over Memorial Day weekend. The National Geography Bee is a quiz competition that tests knowledge of the political, human, cultural, and physical geography of all parts of the world. Way to go, Samuel, and best of luck at Nationals!
